Toll roads

Canada

407-ETR Toll Road

  • Alternative route to one of the busiest corridors in the whole of North America.
  • All-electronic, barrier-free (free flow) toll system. Allows a very high volume of traffic flow without stopping or slowing.
  • Toll rate freedom: ability to increase rates freely without making any payment to government, provided traffic is maintained above a certain minimum threshold. The system optimizes the concessionaire’s revenue and adjusts toll rates to the time saving offered by the highway.

407 EDG Toll Road

  • First project in North America under the availability payment scheme, with no toll rates or traffic risk.
  • Key factor for the economic development of the eastern part of the city of Toronto. More than 13,000 new jobs will be created.
